Project Manager

K-One Technology Bhd. and its subsidiaries, jointly known as the K-One Group, is a technology solutions provider listed on Bursa Malaysia. It is driven by two key businesses; a) OEM/ODM of IoT products, healthcare/medical devices, consumer electronics, automotive aggregates, security and surveillance gadgets, industrial products, mobile phone accessories and computer peripherals, primarily for multinationals worldwide and b) provision of cloud computing services. In conjunction with our recent expansion, we are seeking a motivated candidate to fill the following position:

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible as the key window person between customers and suppliers to co-ordinate all activities encompassing project schedule, material selection, budget, deadline, delivery, process control and quality to ensure that they meet customers’ satisfaction.
  • To advise customers on modification or repair of tooling as appropriate.
  • To act as the window between customer and the Group’s internal engineering (software, mechanical and electronics) support in product design, prototype development, industrialization and volume production to ensure schedule, cost, quality, specifications and relevant objectives are met.
  • To co-ordinate cross functional team ensuring good understanding of the scope of work from each member.
  • To generate and maintain project documentation as required by ISO 9001 or ISO/TS 16949 or ISO 13485 requirements.
  • To assist the Materials team to qualify potential suppliers such as identifying potential suppliers and conducting suppliers pre-audit.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Engineering or Science. Exceptional Diploma holders in Engineering will also be considered.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience related to either metal precision, plastic injection molding or tooling/die casting/PCB assembly or final assembly of electronic end products.
  • Strong project management skills with sound knowledge of cost and lead-time estimations.
  • Possess good communication skills and an excellent team player.
  • Must be willing to travel.
